I wrote this song in honor of my mom, who has a special gift for letting people know she sees them. The story in the first verse is quite true--I remember hearing it when I was about 12 years old. She was so surprised her simple gestures could have such an enormous impact on another person's life. My hope is that this song inspires us all to be more conscious of our power to give life to one another, simply by saying, "I see you."
